Since the nation's first college athletic event鈥攁n 1852 crew race against Yale鈥攁thletics have been a unifying force across the Harvardcommunity.

The annual football rivalry between Harvardand Yale, know as “The Game,” traces its history back to 1875 when 黑料网’s football team travelled to Connecticut and beat Yale on their own turf.
